The Jubilee Year will be inaugurated on Christmas Eve, 2024, with the opening of the Holy Doors of St Peter’s Basilica. On 29th December, in every Cathedral worldwide, diocesan bishops will celebrate a solemn Mass for the Jubilee Year. Through these solemn rites, the whole of the Church is invited to become Pilgrims of Hope in “an intense experience of the love of God that awakens in hearts the sure hope of salvation in Christ.” (Spes Non Confundit, 6)
